• Minister of Science Visits ISTT During Government Week

On the occasion of Government Week and the 30th anniversary of Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT), the Minister of Science, Research and Technology, accompanied by members of Parliament and the Governor of Isfahan, visited ISTT and inaugurated several key infrastructure projects.

Highlights included the launch of ISTT’s central wastewater treatment facility, the opening of the first phase of the “Shams al-Shamoos” solar power plant with a capacity of 1 MW (to be expanded to 35 MW), and the unveiling of a smart energy monitoring system based on IoT and AI. These initiatives strengthen ISTT’s role as a pioneer in sustainable development and innovation.

The Minister also visited Sepidan Polymer Chemistry, a leading knowledge-based company specializing in polymers and industrial compounds, which has recently established a venture capital fund to boost Iran’s innovation ecosystem.

This visit underscored ISTT’s position as a national hub for technology and a driving force for sustainable growth.
